Illinois Community College Leadership Institute
Modeled after a similar program in Iowa, the Illinois Community College Leadership Institute (ICCLI) brings together community college scholars and practitioners statewide who share best practices in community college leadership. Emerging community college leaders who are selected to participate in ICCLI by their college presidents have the opportunity to learn from and interact with esteemed administrators, faculty members, and practitioners during the two-day event, discovering a wealth of research and policy knowledge and forming lasting career connections. In addition, participants receive an extensive midday tour of the host college.
A virtual conference in the fall allows the work to continue, with attendees getting a chance to network with members from varied cohorts. Guest speakers from the virtual conference have included Dr. Heather McCambly from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Danielle Susi-Dittmore from the University of Utah, and Dr. LaDrina Wilson (at right in top photo) from Iman Consulting.
