Step 5

Review and Reflection

The Review and Reflection phase is an integral component of the Pathways to Results process that focuses on capturing learning through reflection and assessing. Additionally, it enables the sustainability of solutions and identifies benefits of the Pathways to Results process that can be extended to other programs and processes. Most importantly, a process of reviewing and reflecting allows team members and partners to contemplate how activities and conversations culminate in shared learning that contributes to future improvements.

Equity and Outcomes Questions for Reflection

  1. In what ways did the process-mapping exercise confirm or challenge previously held assumptions about the selected process(es)? In what ways did the survey-of-practices exercise confirm or challenge assumptions, or create new possibilities for exploration?
  2. How did engaging student voices change or strengthen your assessment process?
  3. Pathways to Results engages teams in the analysis of process deficiencies, not student deficiencies. What was most the valuable aspect of the Process and Practice Assessment phase?
