Centering Equity: Using the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment to Recalibrate Career & Technical Education Programs

Centering Equity: Using the Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment to Recalibrate Career & Technical Education Programs

Connect at this webinar with colleagues across Illinois to further discussions on the comprehensive local-needs assessment (CLNA), a tool developed to assist Illinois community colleges in examining the success of their career and technical education (CTE) programs.

The "Centering Equity" webinar will focus on advancing equitable outcomes by targeting program improvements that lead to student success (i.e., persistence, retention) for the increasingly diverse student population in Illinois.

Sponsored by the Illinois Community College Board, this webinar will engage community college stakeholders who are interested in using CLNA to guide practice and advance understanding for those who want to move beyond discussion to action. Participants will hear from those who have used CLNA to guide their own practice and connect with colleagues who have worked to embed equity systemically into all aspects of CTE program structures, resources, materials, curricula, pedagogy, and practices.
