This plenary session by Dr. Gianina Baker will bring together various paradigm shifts underway in educational systems and institutions, specifically community colleges. Building off literature and resources from both the Office of Community College Research and Leadership (OCCRL) and the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA), Dr. Baker will help attendees reflect on the current state of assessment at community colleges and explore the potential promises that equity-minded and healing-centered assessment can foster if sustained.
This keynote address will lead off the Nov. 8 New England Educational Assessment Network Fall Forum at the College of Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts.
