OCCRL Faculty Virtual Equity Academy
The Faculty Virtual Equity Academy will focus on supporting the role of faculty members to advance equity-conscious change in their classrooms and at their institutions. Dr. Deborah A. Santiago, co-founder and CEO of Excelencia in Education, will provide the keynote address, "From Enrolling to Serving: Opportunities for Intentionality and Faculty Leadership." Sessions will advance collaborative work to close racial equity gaps in Illinois community colleges.
This opportunity is funded by the Illinois Community College Board and open to community college administrators, faculty, and staff members in Illinois.
