Black Centers Directors Speak: Counternarratives in the COVID-19 Era - A Virtual Townhall

This two-part event will take place via Facebook on May 13 and May 20 as part of the Minority Achievement, Creativity, and High Ability Center (MACH III) Masterclass Series. OCCRL Director Eboni Zamani-Gallaher will participate in the May 20 event, and J. Luke Wood, an OCCRL affiliate, will participate in the May 13 event.

Fred A. Bonner II, executive director of the MACH-III Center, will moderate the events.

Dr. James L. Moore III, executive director of the Todd Anthony Bell National Resource Center on the African American Male at Ohio State University

Dr. J. Luke Wood, co-director of the Community College Equity Assessment Lab (CCEAL) at San Diego State University

Part 2 - Wednesday, May 20

Dr. T. Elon Dancy, director of the Center for Urban Education at the University of PIttsburgh

Dr. Jerlando F. L. Jackson, director and chief research scientist at the Equity & Inclusion Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison

Dr. Eboni M. Zamani-Gallaher, director of the Office of Community College Research and Leadership (OCCRL) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
