H.M. Kuneyl

Research Assistant

    H.M. Kuneyl (she/her) is a doctoral student in the Department of Education Policy, Organization & Leadership, with a concentration in higher education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research interests center around the experiences of students of color and the use of community colleges as a pathway to a four-year degree.

    Kuneyl is a first-generation college student turned college-access advisor, academic advisor, student-success program coordinator, and college instructor. She brings her experiences in higher education from Texas, Virginia, and Illinois to the Office of Community College Research and Leadership.
