Creating Culturally Responsive Teaching and 'The Magnitude of Us'
This professional-development webinar will offer an overview of culturally responsive teaching using The Magnitude of Us as a guide to gain learning and actionable ways to implement culturally responsive teaching. Participants will discuss culturally responsive teaching and offer small-group activities to discuss and examine what culturally responsive teaching entails and how it can be implemented and sustained in classrooms. The speakers will be Marlee Bunch (interdisciplinary educator), Dorlande Charles (Illinois State Board of Education), and Munira Nuru (former student).
