Grown Black Men at Two-Year Public Institutions: Advancing Scholarly & Institutional Visibility Talk by Jason KeistJason Keist, a research assistant at the Office of Community College Research in the College of Education, will give a presentation at the 61st annual Council for the Study of Community Colleges Conference (CSCC). The theme of this year's event is "Voices for Research on Community Colleges."

During his talk, Keist will propose employing grounded-theory methods to develop an explanatory theory on how grown black men traverse community college campuses and classrooms, as well as their experiences accessing and utilizing student-support services. Critical Race Theory will serve as the guiding theoretical framework.

CSCC is a scholarly community of individuals who are dedicated to the advancement of community colleges through research.
