Town Hall on College Attainment for Incarcerated and Formerly Incarcerated Women and Girls of Color
This town hall forum will focus on efforts to support and center women and girls of color who have been affected by mass incarceration and over-policing in schools. Conversations during the forum will underscore how these issues ultimately influence their pathways to college and attainment of a college degree.
Emerald Morrow of Brightside 10News will be one of the featured moderators. In addition, OCCRL Director Eboni Zamani-Gallaher will be steering a roundtable discussion at the event.
This event is free and open to the public, though space is limited.
