Champaign , USA

Add to:

Time listed is Central Standard Time.

Minority-serving community colleges (MSCCs) play a vital role in educating the diverse student populations in the U.S. For decades, 300+ MSCCs have been at the forefront, developing strategies that empower historically marginalized students for academic success. In this session, participants will hear from community college leaders about how they effect change at their institutions, the data behind it, the funding they receive, and how they collaborate (resources and experiences) to increase college access and student success. OCCRL Director Eboni Zamani-Gallaher will be one of the featured speakers.

This event is part of the Institute for Minority Serving Institutions happening Sept. 22-23.
