Elizabeth Cox Brand is the executive director of the Oregon Student Success Center. Originally from Iowa, she received her doctorate in educational policy and leadership from Iowa State University in 2007. After graduating, Dr. Brand accepted the position of assistant director of the California Community College Collaborative, a community college research and policy center at the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Brand came to Oregon in 2011 as director of communications and research at the Oregon Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development. She later moved to the Oregon Community College Association in 2014 to serve as the director of student success and assessment. Dr. Brand has professional experience working in K-12, community colleges, and universities with an emphasis on student services and enrollment management.
