Asia Nicole Fuller Hamilton has dedicated her life to uplifting and educating children and teachers. For 18 years she has worked tirelessly as an educator and school principal to promote equitable learning conditions and outcomes for children in the Champaign Unit 4 School District. In 2017, Hamilton received a doctorate in educational administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and she is now a lecturer in the Department of Education Policy, Organization & Leadership at the College of Education at Illinois. Her research interest includes examining equity practices of educational leaders, especially as it pertains to black girls. Hamilton has been happily married for 17 years to husband Jermaine Hamilton, and together they are raising four children: Jeremiah (16), Isaiah (14), Noah (11), and Anaiah (8).
