Research Assistant

Kristal Raheem is a doctoral student in Education Policy, Organization and Leadership with a concentration in Diversity and Equity. Her research centers the lived experiences of minoritized populations in higher education, focusing on the ways in which race, gender, sexuality, and class intersect and impact minoritized groups. Ms. Raheem has worked as an academic advisor, a counseling center community outreach coordinator and supervisor, and designed workshops pertaining to social issues and mental health. She currently teaches a course on cultural diversity and social justice.
